We Teach How
DBIA continues our "we teach how" philosophy to education and training with the 2008 Education Tour. Choose from more than 70 offerings of DBIA's most popular courses including "core courses" required for DBIA designation, the "owners series" -- three courses with each focusing on one key, synergistic element to effective design-build project delivery, and other important topics such as conceptual estimating.
In addition, DBIA has teamed with three of the nation's leading universities to offer designation "boot camps" to help you fast track the designation process by completing the course courses, exam prep course and exam administration in one intensive week of training. These "Designation Boot Camps" will be held in conjunction with CalPoly, George Mason University and Penn State to provide you with choices while guaranteeing consistent quality across the nation. Click here for additional details.
In addition, you can put your organization at the forefront by taking advantage of a customized, company-based workshop, training session or boot camp. Click here to find out more.
Introducing DBIA's new "CareerSpot" -- offering employers and career seekers an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections.
Again, a special thanks to our sponsors who made this new site possible.

With most components of this year’s conference in place, it’s now up to you to register for the 2008 Design-Build Conference & Expo. In addition to the four DBIA education tracks offered this year: The Owner Perspective, Legal Issues, Specialty Contractor Integration and Integrated Processes, you will also hear from some of the top names in the industry and others who should make this year’s conference the best ever.
Headlining the conference are Don Shula, NFL Hall of Fame coach; Anthony A. Marnell II, CEO and chairman of the board of Marnell Corrao Associates Inc.; and Norbert W. Young, FAIA, president of McGraw Hill Construction.
But you can’t take part if you don’t register. There’s also still time to become an exhibitor, but space is filling up fast. Don’t miss out on the biggest design-build event of the year.
