Mr. Rex Huffman is the President of Gibbs & Register, Inc., a civil/site work general contractor headquartered in Orlando and operating throughout the state of Florida. The company specializes in horizontal construction projects including roadwork, underground utilities, park and recreation facilities, building site work and streetscape projects. Gibbs & Register offers design-build project delivery in each of these market sectors.
Previously, Mr. Huffman served as Vice President for the Haskell Company and led Haskell’s Transportation Division (Jacksonville, FL). He has over 35 years of design and construction experience. His primary focus has been in design-build marketing, sales and project/operations management across numerous market sectors: industrial, highway & bridges, railroads, water, wastewater, buildings and hazardous waste remediation.
Mr. Huffman received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University. He is a Designated Design-Build Professional™, and chaired DBIA’s Civil Infrastructure Committee from 1995-1998.
