Dennis Ashley has over 44 years of construction and architectural experience beginning with his graduation with a BS in Architecture from Lawrence Institute of Technology. Beginning in 1966, while attending Lawrence studying architecture, he gained experience working for seven architectural firms as a draftsman advancing to a Project Architect. After graduation Mr. Ashley was made an associate of an architectural firm and taught architectural and construction management courses part-time at Lawrence. In 1980 he began working for a general contractor in Detroit; in 1982 Mr. Ashley moved to Denver to work for a national contractor opening an office there. Mr. Ashley’s varied background includes experience in the overall design aspects and process of construction projects, the general contractor preconstruction process and the management of the total construction process. His multi-faceted background has been instrumental in the completion of a variety of complex projects including health care, hospitality, retail, commercial office, museum and high tech. Mr. Ashley has worked on the major project delivery methods of design-bid-build, CM/GC and design-build.
