Description:
In the largest construction project at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base since World War II, the award-winning 680,000-square-foot Maj. Gen. Harry G. Armstrong Complex was successfully achieved through a collaborative design-build contract to provide the Air Force Research Laboratory’s 711th Human Performance Wing with a state-of-the-art research, training and education and administrative facility. The design-build delivery method achieved the “benefit of best value” for the project, exceeding end-user requirements and delivering the project 89 days early.
