About the Project:
The project is the world’s largest, most complex yogurt processing plant yet, encompassing 1 million square feet, and hosting 14 production lines. It was hyper-tracked, with a construction cycle completed in 10 months as opposed to 2 years. From foundations to product trials on the first two lines, the team effort peaked at 1,000 workers, six days a week in two 10 hour shifts to complete this record-time project. Design-build was used because it provided the most flexibility with many design and technology enhancements and it was the only method able to achieve 10-month delivery.
