About the Project:
The new research facility for the Center of Excellence for Coral Reef
Ecosystem Science (CoE CRES), located at the Nova Southeastern University
Oceanographic Center (NSUOC) in Hollywood, Florida, is a five-story,
87,000-square-foot, graduate-level research facility that incorporates
innovative and eco-friendly design and construction that is anticipated to
receive LEED Silver or greater certification. CoE CRES is currently the
only research facility in the United States dedicated to coral reef
ecosystem research and preservation.
