About the Project:
In February 2013, Kiewit/Sundt, a joint venture, completed the $227-million San Diego International Airport Green Build Landside Project at Terminal 2 West in San Diego, California. The design-build project included a 1,300-foot elevated departure roadway with Smart Curb check-in; Transit Center for buses, shuttles and taxis; 16,100-square-foot combined United Service Organization and Parking Management Office; and improvements to access roads and parking areas. The project achieved Gold-level LEED certification.
