"Money Man" Chris Butler

Join DBIA on Wednesday, March 30, for a joint presentation relevant to both transportation and water/wastewater professionals. Kansas City’s own “Money Man” Chris Butler will take a detailed look at what drives national and global business and make some projections for the coming two years. He will explain the correlation between national economic growth and project flow at the state/municipal level. Transportation and water/wastewater funding are tied to state and municipal finance and can mirror --or diverge from--the national outlook. Mr. Butler will examine why and how this occurs. He holds BA in Political Science from the University of Kansas, an MBA from Baker University and has an MA in Economics from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Mr. Butler co-manages both the equity and fixed-income portfolios for Butler, Lanz & Wagler, L.C., a registered investment advisory, located in Overland Park, KS. In addition to lecturing on economics and investment strategies, he can be heard regularly on the KCMO "Morning Show with Chris Stigall."
Lunch Reception to follow at 12:45 pm - 1:30 pm
