Must be a DBIA member, in good standing. |
| STEP 2: |
Must be a Designated Design-Build Professional or working towards Designation/Certification* |
| STEP 3: |
Attend the DBIA Faculty/Instructor Workshop (held annually at the DBIA Annual Conference & Expo) |
| STEP 4: |
Complete the DBIA Faulty/Instructor Application |
| STEP 5: |
Agree to the terms of the DBIA Minimum Instructor Expectations and Instructor Code of Conduct |
| STEP 6: |
Audit a DBIA Education Course |
| STEP 7: |
Co-teach a DBIA Education Course with a veteran DBIA faculty member/instructor |
| STEP 8: |
Maintain an average of 80% approval from DBIA course attendees (Evaluation forms are provided to each attendee of a DBIA Education Course)** |
*You may request to have this requirement waived. Waivers will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
**Approved DBIA Faculty/Instructors must teach at least one course per year to remain active. Inactive Faculty must repeat steps 3-6 to be re-instated.
