Darlene Septelka is the Director of Integrated Services in the Landon Construction Group’s Seattle office. With over 35 years of owner and project management experience, Darlene brings a diverse background of services and project types to Landon. Darlene recently returned from Vietnam where she supported the opening of the company’s Saigon office and kicking off two mixed-use projects. Prior to joining Landon, Darlene was the King County Senior Construction Manager for the $500 Million Brightwater Treatment Plant Project and spent 12 years with the Boeing Company managing design and construction on a variety of projects. She has successfully managed over 100 design and construction projects and has expertise in owner management of traditional and alternative project delivery methods.
Darlene is an appointed member of the Washington State Capital Project Advisory Review Board (CPARB) Project Review Committee. She is the founding and past Vice-President of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Northwest Region and a Designated Design-Build Professional and she was the recipient of the 2003 DBIA Distinguished Leadership Award. Darlene is a skilled speaker with over 50 national and international professional presentations on integrated project delivery methods and has taught graduate and undergraduate integrated design and construction project management courses at University of Washington, Washington State University, and California Polytechnic State University.
