George Woods is the co-founder and Vice President of Lifecycle Construction Services. Mr. Woods is a seasoned construction executive with over ten years of management experience in logistics, operations, human resources and financial management. He has an excellent background in facility design, construction, scheduling, and budgeting. He has successfully managed every phase of federal design and construction projects.
He is a West Point graduate and veteran Army officer, serving in support of operations in the Balkans and the Middle East. He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), as well as being a certified Project Management Professional® (PMP), and is a Designated Design-Build Professional® (DBIA). He also serves on the National Sustainability Committee for the DBIA. He has published numerous articles in various professional journals, including two articles in DBIA’s Dateline magazine last year: “Ripe but Risky” (September 2008) and “New LEED Strategies” (October 2008).
George also serves as the Chairman of the Coastal Empire Ethics Conference, a long term education project focused on ethics education for high school students. He lives in Savannah, Georgia with his wife Kate, and their two daughters Molly and Clara.
