Collaboration - the Heart and Soul of Design-Build
Partnering and teaming with other design and construction industry firms is an integral part of design-build. DBIA provides conferences, forums, journals and workshops for individuals to “network” and share experiences and approaches to design-build and integrated services with colleagues and owners.
Legislative Leadership
DBIA advocates changes in laws and regulations to encourage equal opportunity for design-build and integrated services delivery. Over the past year hundreds of items of Design-Build legislation have been initiated at the state and national level. The percentage rate of successful passage for such Design-Build legislation is far higher than for typical legislation, reflective of the efforts of the DBIA and the Design-Build community.
