Clark and HSMM Team to Construct Marine Hangers
Quantico, VA — The Department of the Navy has awarded a $34.6 million contract to the design-build team of Clark Construction and Hayes, Seay, Mattern, & Mattern, Inc. to design and construct two maintenance hangers at the Marine Corps Air facility in Quantico, VA.
HDR Selected for 212 Project
Minneapolis, MN — HDR has been contracted to perform design services for the Mn/DOT Trunk Highway (TH) 212 , an 11.8 mile highway design-build project that will consist of 28 bridges and six interchanges.
Clark Awarded Contract By Cal State U.
San Luis Obispo, CA — Clark Design/Build of California, Inc., has been awarded a $239 million contract to design and build a student housing facilty on the San Luis Obispo campus of California State University. The project will house nine residence buildings and two parking structures.

Haskell Erects “Tilt-Up” Panels for Woman’s Shelter
Pembroke Pines, FL — The Haskell Company has tilted up the first wall panels for the Susan B. Anthony shelter for woman, a 62,000 s.f., $7.6 million design-build project scheduled for completion in 2006.
Clayco Constructs Multiple Projects for OfficeMax
Denver, CO, Garden Grove, CA, Norman, OK, and Columbus, OH — Clayco is nearing the completion of several OfficeMax facilities across the U.S. The projects include the design-build renovation of a 261,250 s.f. warehouse in Grove, CA, and a distribution center in Denver, CO. In addition, Clayco is constructing additions to OfficeMax facilities in both Norman, OK and Columbus, OH.
Pro Con Begins Framing of Residence Inn
Worcester, MA — Pro Con Construction has begun framing for a 122-room, four-story Marriott Residence Inn. Pro Con, in collaboration with PCI Architecture, is serving as the construction manger for the $10.3 million design-build project.
