Beginning this academic term, Design-Build DATELINE will be required reading for students taking CM 431 Integrated Project Services, a senior level class at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. The course focuses on design-build project delivery and has students from construction management, architecture, engineering, and planning.
Dr. Barbara Jackson, Chair of DBIA’s Education Committee and the course instructor, believes DATELINE is a critical tool for her students. She notes that “DATELINE has become a great educational resource, not just for practitioners but also for university students. The articles are timely and current and provide great case studies and best practices regarding design-build. By using the articles I can bring some of the top design-builders right into the classroom.”
DATELINE is pleased to offer student subscriptions at a greatly reduced rate and encourages other colleges and universities to adopt the journal as part of their course curriculum. If you would like to receive DATELINE at a special student rate and would like to explore how to integrate it into your academic program, please contact Richard Belle at rbelle@dbia.org.
