New Faces at JTA

Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Transportation Authority s pleased to announce that they have named Cleve E. Warren as its new chairman. They have also added engineering project managers Donna George and Neil Nance, along with regional transportation planner James Boyle, to their staff.

Gitlin Joins STV

Fairfax, VA — Sandra A. Gitlin has joined STV Incorporated as vice president and manager of business development for federal programs.

Changes at HDR

Omaha, NE — Kendal Tanner, P.E., has joined HDR as vice president and national director of the environmental and resource management group’s design-build programs in the Boise office. Eugene Balter, P.E., is now national director for transportation construction services and operations director for the HDR Construction Control Corporation subsidiary; he will be based in the firm’s Tampa office.

Clayco Adds Three

St. Louis, MO — Joseph A. Hartz has joined Clayco as a senior project manager for constructionprojects for the firm’s financial facilities group, LaTisha S. Rhymes, CPA, P.E., as a project accountant and Nicholas J. Brawley as a senior web developer.

Kenny Appointed

Phoenix, AZ — John R. Kenny, P.E., DBIA, was appointed a regional director for Gannett Fleming. He will oversee corporate operations for the firm’s 19-state west region.

DORMA Names Rose

Reamstown, PA — DORMA Architectural Hardware has named Gary Rose as product manager to support the growth of the firm’s exit device products.

Marlow New Stockholder

Eureka, CA — Oscar Larson & Associates Consulting Engineers and Land Surveyors of Eureka has announced that Edward Marlow, P.E., has become a stockholder in the company.

Springfield, IL — Brian Beneke has joined Harold O’Shea Builders as a project manager.

Doosan Chooses Florida

Tampa Bay, FL — Doosan Hydro Technology has selected Tampa Bay as the home for its U.S. domestic headquarters. They plan to open a research and development center as well in March 2007. Peter Villeneuve, Ph.D., is the new director of the center; other staff include Brett McQuade, P.E., research engineer, and Erik Tynes, M.S., senior process engineer.

B&V Secures Major Role in Perth Wastewater Treatment Upgrade

Perth, Australia — Black & Veatch, in association with Sinclair Knight Merz and Thiess, has been appointed to form an alliance with Water Corporation to manage the expansive Metro Wastewater Treatment Program in Perth, Western Australia.
