Rockville, MD — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has selected Grunley Construction as the design-build contractor to oversee the design and construction of a Child Development Center in Ft. Myer, VA.
Skanska to D-B New Stadium
Stockholm, Sweden — Skanska AB announced that it has received a $998 million order to design and build a new football stadium for the New York Giants and the New York Jets. The stadium will be part of the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, NJ.
O’Shea Selected
Springfield, IL — Harold O’Shea Builders has been selected as general contractor for the Korean War National Museum. The 47,000 s.f. design-build project will be built in two phases.

Groundbreaking Ceremony
Stafford, VA — On January 18, a groundbreaking ceremony took place for the Rappahonnock Regional Jail expansion project. The design-build team for the $52.8 million project includes Centex Construction, PSA-Dewberry, Inc., and Hankins and Anderson.
