Two for Earth Tech
Long Beach, CA — Earth Tech, Inc., has been selected to serve as the lead designer for the multi-million dollar northeast extension of the Calgary (Alberta, Canada) Ring Road by a consortium that will design, build, finance, and operate the project for Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation.
The firm has also been awarded a $5.5 million design-build contract by the Hilton Head Public Service District (SC) for the development of a new desalination facility that will increase access to affordable fresh water to the island community.

Final Phase of WWTP
Bullhead City, AZ — CDM has moved into the final phase of design and construction on Bullhead City’s Section 18 wastewater treatment plant expansion. The $17 million design-build project will help the city meet the needs of a rapidly growing population and pave the way for reclamation and reuse of the highly treated water.
SlurryCarb™ Facility
Rialto, CA — HDR Design-Build, Inc., has begun construction on a design-build SlurryCarb™ facility. The process produces a renewable fuel from biosolids and other high-moisture wastes. The fuel will be used by a local cement kiln as a renewable alternative to coal.
