Credit Goes to Clayco
EMMETT TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Clayco Inc. is design-building a new 5,800-square-foot branch for Marshall Community Credit Union.
The building, designed to blend with the surrounding architecture, is expected not only to provide state-of-the-art banking services, but to be another step in the redevelopment of the area.
Fort Lee Contract Awarded
Hankins and Anderson Inc. will provide engineering design services for Balfour Beatty Construction under a Multiple Award Task Order Contract awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Norfolk for the new TA5 Central Campus in Fort Lee, Va. The $196.5 million complex will encompass about 774,000 gross square feet.
The development includes five central campus buildings including Track, Wheel & Armament and Electronics Training departments.
Administrative and operational spaces will include private and open offices, reception, record storage/test control, counseling rooms, conference room, multipurpose training room, auditorium, student break rooms with vending and restrooms, staff break rooms with vending and restrooms that include showers and locker area, and supply rooms.
Labs and specialized functions include: repair instruction, vehicle maintenance instruction, auto-aided instruction, oil and petroleum storage, organizational storage, fire control, welding and machining, small arms labs, indoor small arms range, weapons/armory vault, and parts vault.
