Wight Makes Changes

DARIEN, Ill. — Wight & Company has named Anne Kelly, CPA, as chief financial officer, where she assumes responsibility for the firm’s financial leadership. With the firm since 2002, she has served as controller since 2006. Wight has also promoted Brad Paulsen, AIA, to vice president, business development; Steve Collins to vice president, government programs; and Elizabeth Koski to vice president, marketing and communications.

Moldenhauer Joins HOK DC

WASHINGTON — The Washington office of HOK has appointed Raymond A. Moldenhauer, AIA, as principal and regional healthcare director. Moldenhauer will be responsible for further expansion of HOK’s national healthcare practice. HOK is the design/executive architect for the new 1,062-000-squre-foot Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.

Patrick Joins Barton Malow

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Barton Malow Company has added Debi Patrick as business development manager for the firm’s specialty contracting division in Oak Park, Mich.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Hensel Phelps Construction Co. recently promoted Michael J. Choutka to executive vice president and southern division manager and Kirk J. Hazen to vice president and southeast district manager.

RW Project Wins Award

LEDERACH, Pa. — The Precast Concrete Institute has recognized Rotondo Weirich’s Mystic River Modernization Project for excellence in the category “Innovation in Sustainability.” The project included 240 kitchen and bathroom module additions to an existing apartment complex in Somerville, Mass. These modules were fully outfitted with fixtures and accessories prior to being installed on site.

CH2M HILL Shares Expertise

DENVER, Colo. — CH2M HILL used case study presentations covering conventional membrane filtration for seawater pretreatment, desalination and a variety of other water/wastewater topics at the Singapore International Water Week, held June 23-27. In addition, CH2M HILL Vice President Lisa Henthorne, president of the International Desalination Association, and President of International Operations Tom Searle, took part in the Water Leaders Summit. The company has been working in Singapore for more than a decade and has a strong partnership with PUB, the national water agency.

B&V Focuses on Climate

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — On July 16 Black & Veatch hosted a meeting for 150 member companies of the Greater Kansas City Climate Protection partnership, coordinated by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting members discussed progress on implementing sustainable practices and heard an address from New York Times environment reporter Andrew Revkin.
