Books & Contracts

Online Bookstore
To order books, contract documents and industry materials please visit our online bookstore.

DBIA Members are eligible for discounts of 10% on books and 50% on contract documents.

Here’s how:

Go to the bookstore and start shopping. Follow the usual shopping cart process; create an account with a user name and password during the checkout process. If you’re purchasing a contract document, you’ll be able to download the file(s) when logged onto the bookstore site.

DBIA members – towards the end of the checkout process, there is a field for the discount/coupon code. You can get the code from the Members-Only page on the DBIA site or contact Todd Rich (trich@dbia.org).

Contract Documents and Forms

DBIA contract documents are known as a fair basis for successful projects. In 2010, DBIA’s team of legal experts performed a complete revision that encompasses electronic data handling, insurance and bonding, schedule changes and many other issues.

All documents are downloadable in Microsoft Office format and can be edited to suit specific projects and needs.

Your purchase provides you a license to use the document that is effective for one year from the date of purchase. The license can easily be renewed in the bookstore.

DBIA members receive a 50% discount on contract documents. Simply sign in on this site to obtain the coupon code in the Resources section. Then go to the online bookstore to set up an account and make your purchase.

Wondering how to work with these documents?

DBIA's G. William Quatman, Esq., FAIA, DBIA, presented a webinar on August 27 to discuss how to properly use and work with these documents. This 90 minute webinar is available in recorded format for $50.00 here. It is approved for continuing education credit from both DBIA and AIA. For more information on our upcoming webinars, click here.
