Before You Register

There are two ways to register — online or PDF. But first, to make sure you take advantage of all savings available and all optional activities, please read the important information below.

Not A DBIA Member? One of the many benefits of DBIA membership is deep discounts on conference registration. If you and/or your firm are not a member of DBIA, join before you register and take advantage of significant savings. Visit www.dbia.org/about/Join to learn about the benefits of being a member and to join online.

Ways To Save!

  • The sooner you register, the more you save! Register by September 25 for the greatest savings.
  • A 10% discount for Young Professionals (must be age 35 or under): DBIA is committed to creating a clear path to success for emerging design-build professionals and to encourage their involvement in the many educational and networking events being held during the conference. In addition to a 10% discount for those 35 and under, the conference will include a special “Young Professionals’ Lounge” in the Expo Hall, complete with information and activities specifically geared towards preparing our next generation of leaders.
  • Group Discounts: Four (4) or more paid full conference individuals from the same company receive significant discounts on a Full Conference registration. Discounts range from $150.00/person to $250.00/person depending on the number of people and the registration type. All registrations and payment must be received together in order to qualify. This offer excludes optional activities and cannot be used with other discounts (e.g., Young Professionals discount).

NOTE: All Exhibitors and Sponsors receive the DBIA member rate. To receive this rate, please contact your exhibitor representative. Not sure you are an exhibitor? View real-time listing.

How to Register

 Owner Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in the 2017 Design-Build Conference & Expo Owner Scholarship Fund. The goal of the fund is to advance the awareness, understanding and use of design-build among as many owners/government agencies as possible, and assist agency personnel who may not otherwise be able to attend the 2017 Design-Build Conference & Expo. Therefore, please take note of the following prior to submitting your application:

 Description of Funds:
  • Owner Education Fund:  Covers complimentary registration to the 2017 Design-Build Conference & Expo.
  • Owner Travel Fund:  Used to offset all or a portion of an individual's travel costs. Recipients may apply to have coach airfare and lodging for up to three nights covered.

Owner Scholarship Guidelines & Eligibility
DBIA cannot guarantee that all requests will be awarded. For individuals receiving scholarships, please note the following:
  • The travel stipend for transportation will be a fixed amount based on the average reasonable transportation to the host conference city within the contiguous United States as determined by DBIA.
  • The amount awarded is based on the number of applications received and fund availability.
  • Applicants who have already paid registration fees will not be refunded.
  • Applicants need not be members of DBIA to qualify.
  • Applicants will be notified by September 11, 2017.

Deadline: August 21, 2017
Application: The application deadline has passed.

Definition of an Owner:  Any public owner of construction projects is eligible, as long as they are considering, or interested in considering, the use of design-build as a project delivery method, or have utilized this project delivery method in the past.  “Owner’s Representatives” are only eligible if the application includes a signed statement from the owner attesting that the “owner’s representative” is attending on behalf of the organization.

Questions: If you have questions regarding the Owner Education, please contact Allison Leisner at aleisner@dbia.org
