DBIA is pleased to announce the 2017 Transportation Leadership Award Recipents

 

 

 Owner of the Year

 
DBIA’s 2017 Transportation Owner of the Year Award pays tribute to an owner organization in the transportation industry that has made significant contributions in advancing the awareness, understanding and use of the design-build project delivery method.

Nominated organizations may come from any transportation mode including, but not limited to, highways/bridges, marine/water, rail and air.

Who is Eligible? Any owner organization in the transportation field, public or private, as long as they use design-build as one of their project delivery methods. The owner should show an interest in DBIA (ie: DBIA courses, manuals, forms, contracts, etc.). Membership in DBIA is not required.

Who can Nominate? An individual or company may provide the nomination. In addition, owners may nominate themselves for this award. Membership in DBIA is not a requirement for the owner or the nominator. However, membership in DBIA is a plus for either.

 Individual Leadership Awards

 
DBIA’s Design-Build in Transportation Leadership Awards pay tribute to individuals in the transportation industry who have made significant contributions to advancing awareness, understanding and use of the design-build project delivery method.

There are three award categories:
  • Owner (Public or Private)
  • Industry Professional (Including, but not limited to, architect, engineer, specialty contractor, attorney and academic)
  • Young Professional (age 35 and younger)
Nominated individuals may represent any transportation sector including highway/bridges, marine/water, rail and air.

Who is Eligible? Any owner or practitioner, working in the transportation field, who has used the design-build project delivery method successfully as one of their project delivery methods. The individual should demonstrate an active interest in design-build best practices through the use of DBIA courses, manuals, forms, contracts, etc. Membership in DBIA is not required.

Who can Nominate? Nomination will be accepted from individuals or companies. In addition, individuals may nominate themselves for this award. Membership in DBIA is not a requirement; however, it demonstrates a commitment to best practices in design-build project delivery. DBIA does not require an entry fee for this nomination.

 2017 Transportation Leadership Award Winners

 
DBIA is pleased to announce the 2017 Design-Build in Transportation Leadership Awards.

We congratulate this year’s DBIA National Leadership Award winners for this well-deserved recognition.”

The Design-Build in Transportation Leadership Award winners are selected by DBIA’s Transportation Markets Committee comprised of design-build professionals and industry experts from across the country. They were honored on April 19 at the DBIA Design-Build in Transportation Conference in Charlotte, N.C.
